Group Tours & Field Trips

We're pleased to welcome groups back to the museum. Guided tours of the museum's collections and special exhibitions are available for groups of a minimum of 10 and maximum of 40 visitors. School groups may choose from a variety of field trip options. Please plan to divide your group up into smaller increments (10 students per pod or less) and arrange for 1-3 chaperones for every 10 students.

From the North: Drive south on I-25 to the Speer Boulevard exit. Turn left onto Speer and continue past Colfax Avenue, then turn left onto 14th Avenue. The museum is six blocks ahead. To park in the garage, continue for one block and turn right onto Broadway, then right onto 12th Avenue.

From the East: Head south on I-25 to the Speer Boulevard South exit (212). Continue on Speer Boulevard past Colfax Avenue, then turn left onto 14th Avenue. The museum is six blocks ahead. To park in the garage, continue for one block and turn right onto Broadway, then right onto 12th Avenue.

From the West: Driving east on I-70, take the US-6 East/West 6th Avenue exit (261). After several miles, US-6 freeway becomes a one-way street. Turn left onto Lincoln Street. You are now approaching from the south. Proceed to 12th Avenue and turn left to reach the parking garage, which is just past Broadway.

From the South: Drive north on I-25 to the Lincoln-Broadway exit (207). Go north on Lincoln and turn left at 12th Avenue. The Cultural Complex Garage is two blocks ahead, just past Broadway.

Become a Member

With the expansion of the museum’s campus and programming, now is an excellent time to become a member. Members enjoy daily free general admission, which allows you the opportunity to endlessly explore all of our amazing collections, reinstalled galleries, and new creative spaces. Visit our permanent collections again for the first time in nearly four years, but also discover new features like the Creative Hub, Sensory Garden, Thread Studio, and a rooftop terrace offering stunning city and mountain views.

Free Days at the DAM

General admission is free several times a year during Free Days at the DAM, presented by Your 6 Front Range Toyota Stores. Advance ticket reservations are strongly encouraged.

Goals and Objectives

Our research community will achieve excellence using thoughtful goals and their corresponding objectives. These goals were set by applying a comprehensive strategic planning process to ensure we set a high bar for achievement for both the short and long term.

Our New Strategic Plan

RCPRC 2030: Powering the Extraordinary came from acknowledging the significant challenges we face as a Research institutions, europ and on a global scale. In this 2022-2030 Strategic Plan, we seek to build upon past successes and address areas of needed growth in order to more effectively adhere to our important mission.
